so bleeding happy to be here too!

for some reason it feels like i have been gone for over a month, but it has only been 10 days, and actually only 8 full days at that! felt like a little slice of forever getting here today.

for some reason we sat at the gate for an extra 45 minutes this morning, just vague excuses and mumblings from the cabin crew – most of the time at full volume right above my ears. at least it was not a bumpy flight, i would have really hated that. so the just under 3.5 hour flight turned almost 5 hours with boarding and exiting. so very bored.

but it was worth it, and i’m home now.

it was a good trip, and in the long run could have used a few more days to see some people. but i’m glad that i didn’t stay any longer. i was really starting to see all the major reasons for leaving the H-place, and a whole lot of the things that made me so sad to leave. stirred up a bunch of “stuff” in my head. i was pretty sad a fairly large chunk of this trip. too many people that i have “left behind” and so many favorite places gone.

just makes SF that much better to me…
