it has been way too long since i’ve done this – i must have been busy or something…

World Energy v7n3
done, done and DONE. moved the deadline on me twice, and that gods they did. one of the slowest moving issues we have ever had. but it all got done, and one time with very little problems at the printers. yay me!

Folsom Street Fair
not as much fun or envelope pushing as last year on some levels, but more fun in other ways on other levels. as we did at the Up Your Alley Fair, we had a “party central” at Nathan’s place. what a view and what a time. i must be getting more used to living here, the naked folk didn’t even phase me this year!

Gold’s Gym
K and i finally jumped out of 24hour fitness. just could not take the lack of care that is put into that place. Gold’s is a lot more intense, and that bothers me a bit. but overall it seems a better place to be working out in. i’ll get used to it. K and i have somewhat decided to “crank it up” a bit as well. we shall see – we shall see.

oh gods – i might even get – dare i say it – buff!

i am so hooked. computer video game where you get to BE the super-hero. my time is not my own.

the Butterfly Effect and the nature of journals
this was a Netflix pick – was much different than expected and a lot more intense. if you have not seen it, and you blog or journal, see it. if you ever wonder about how ONE thing or decision may change you, your loved ones or the world around you, see it. it might even make you start to question the fundamental nature of reality, and how you can and do affect things and people around you all the time.

and talk about strange quirks of reality – Aston Kutchner is the lead – and he was GOOD!

one diva down – two to go
Annie. Lennox. is. amazing.

M and i went to see her Sat night, and was just blown away. i had pretty much given up hope of ever seeing her perform live, and 6 months ago M scored ticked to this show. can hardly believe how good she was and how much energy poured from her on stage. the audience did NOT seem to want her to leave the stage – and she shouldn’t have. just amazing.

oh yeah – then Sting played.

Annie is one of my “big 3″ – the triple godess voice. seeing the other two may take a lot of effort. Alison Moyet does have a new album out in the UK, so that might happen – but Kate Bush ever touring again?

Castro Street Fair
was kinda fun – kinda crowded. i think we got started a bit too late, as the crowds were really filling in by the time we got down to the neighborhood. last year it felt like the sidewalks were about to melt, and it was a bit misty and cold this time. made it an easy excuse to head home a bit earlier than we might have. just wasn’t into it for some reason.

a few trips that look promising…

one to Sonoma with the Friday Dinner group, and a journey off to the Noth Cal Ren Faire this weekend. should be fun, we will see what happens. M and my anniversary (whoa – 8 years) at the end of the month. and several doctor visits and such along the way. what is happening here?
