really just a bit of a follow-up to the last post.

my momma came through the surgery on Wednesday with no problems. according to what she and my ex-step dad said, the surgery went very fast and was over earlier than was scheduled. to me this is a good thing. always better to have your insides exposed for as short a period of time as possible.

i spoke to her a little bit yesterday and she sounded in good spirits.

we are keeping a very positive outlook on the next part. they found the “needs to come out stuff” pretty early, and from what i was able to learn it was more of a “marker” that the big bad. we don’t get to know that till tuesday coming, but hopes are good.

on a related note – news from the sister on monday was that she and boyfriend person ran into some of his old friends at a birthday event, and one of them is like THE heart person to go to in Germany. his wife is also big timedoctor of the “female-stuff” variety. my sis was told flat out that WHATEVER my mom needs, she will handle it – no matter what.

when i told momma about that she just started crying – knowing that she has the support and caring that she needs when she gets back home. and now she can do that – go back to that new home and not have to worry about whatever might come next.
