October of 2005 may be the best music month for me in my entire life. it does mark a rather sad moment in the return to the 80’s – but i can live with that.

earlier this month, Allison Moyet’s recent album FINALLY got its US release. That’s one.

later this month (as i mentioned earlier) Kate Bush – 2 CD release – first new material in 12 years. that makes two.

also later in the month – new Depeche Mode! heard the first single, and it promises to be what i always used to love about them. wow – up to three!

yesterday, Andy Bell’s (of Erasure fame) newest solo project came out – and it was purchased and it is GOOD. heavens – that is up to four!

yesterday – i heard that not only is a new single due out next week, but a new full album by Eurythmics – and i DO mean Eurythmics, both Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart – will be out before the end of the month. five!

ok – so like i said – a bit of an 80’s renaissance return – but OMG OMG OMG!

who would have thought it possible – that the “triumverate” from my early days all with new material and all in the same month and year? Allison, Kate and Annie, the 3 voices that could do no wrong.

my iTunes will never be the same…
