this is so freakin’ annoying – my mouse is dying.

the scroll wheel has been acting up all afternoon, and pretty much just scrolls when i feels like it now. amazing how one can get so used to something so simple, and so annoyed when it starts to go wrong.

just scrolling on a web page seems to be so simple and basic, and when it just stops working you can get so confused. it is even worse when i am working, and i have zoomed in on a paragraph for edits and need to scoll up or down to get to the next section to work on. i have to slow down and find my scroll bar (UNDER all my tool pallet windows) and pull that where i need to go. really slows me down a lot more than i ever thought that it would.

my last mouse did not have a scroll wheel, so i never really thought about it. when i got this one i thought “wow – how cool is that!” and kist got very used to a good tool that helped me work a bit faster. and i like the way it fits my hand as well.

don’t know if i will run out and get another identical mouse or something new – but i am gonna have to do it soon…
