Another Pride Weekend come and gone.

What a crowd and what a spectacle it was. I can’t believe that I was able to manage and manouver through so much activity without having any panic issues with so many people. And there were a LOT of people. Some area of the festival area much more crowded than others, strange that…seems to me that they would make an effort to spead a few spots out a bit more to accomodate the huge whopping quantity of people near the food(ish) areas. Oh well, fact of big pubilc festivals.

Was great to be there, very good to be there. The would have been the first week-end at Bristol Faire (well, actually it was – just without me) and it was good to be here in SF – home – instead of out on the road. I do miss the faires, but I do love this city and love to be home and not off somewhere else all the time.

Was so obvious who was tourist and who was “native”over parts of the day – but I can see why people want to be here for Pride. After all, it was a quick business trip that convinced me that I wanted to be here. Nice to be one of the “natives.”
