so what happens next?

we are in a period of healing, a much needed period of healing. Marcus is coming to terms with the aftermath of surgery and the physical aspects of that. he has returned to work which i think is good on a lot of levels. somewhat distracting himself from everything, and starting to get back to life as normal (whatever that is for us these days) putting this episode behind. we have a follow-up with Dr Fee in just under a week, so that will be good timing for putting some of this to rest.

still unsure about the vertigo – hard to tell with all the extra chemistry inside as well as his body still sorting out “stuff.” he has had some good days though, so my hopes are still high that the worst is behind us.

as we are starting to sort through, relax a bit and heal, i get e-mail from my mother. she is doing very well – walking with a cane in just under 5 weeks from hip replacement! – but her mother is not. don’t know what happened yet, but she is now in a hospice care outside of Ft Worth after being taken there by ambulance a few nights ago. not unexpected i guess, just one more stress for me to come to grips with. more emotional turmoil just when i needed it. NOT. more internal issues to sort through i guess, more things to handle inside. not sure how to deal with this one too.

but somehow – i will.
