about this “circle of life” thing…

don’t like it very much. i mean i know that we must have it, and that without it this little planet would be a lot more full and over-crowded, and even more people would be even more hungry and poverty stricken. still don’t like it very much when people that i care about have to leave for whatever is next on our list of existence experiences.

sometimes it is a lot easier, and sometimes it is for the best. would rather have them transition over to whatever awaits them than having to be tied here in this world while in poor health and circumstances for longer than they can be comfortable and have a life worth having, or being a part of. but for some reason it never gets easier for us still on this side.

we know it is coming, and although we prepare for it on so many levels, we still feel a bit like we have been slammed against a wall when it finally comes. but on the other hand, we can stop holding out breath in expectation – start to breathe again and start to grieve (however we need to do that) and start to move forward in our own lives. hopefully, we learn not to take for granted what we have and to tell those that we should that we love and cherish them. take the time now. we will never know if it might be the last time. live life now.

good bye Anne Cunningham – thanks for sharing your life with us – i will miss you grand-mother.

see you on the other side
