icourtland!

there are basically 3 places we have found recently that we think would be fun and neat places to live. one right around the corner on 17th is a house built around the late 1870s, very in our price range but we aren’t sure is quite “right.” one is a little further out, closer to some things but further from others. bigger than here for damn sure, and includes the ever elusive parking – in a real live garage! the last is one of the best choices. built in the late 1890s or early 00s (the 1900s that is) and is a beautiful flat with lots of light. no parking on a VERY uphill section of street, the only real downside for me.

so we like the place with the garage for us the best, but just handed paperwork for the landlord to check into this morning. the uphill but no parking said “yes” last night. holding off a final answer for them until Thursday, hopefully the other guy will like us too and we get to choose.

one way or the other – we have a new home – wonder which one it will be?
