had a fun night. M and i went to our favorite local band venue – The Fillmore – to see Rufus Wainwright last night. what a great show!

this is the second time we have gone to see him there, and he hasn’t failed to keep the group well entertained. they were filming the concert for something last night as well, so we will have to keep our eyes open for some kind of DVD or broadcast. should be fun to watch from another perspective, and to see how they edit it. lots of f-word usage, and some funny rambling. not as much rambling as before, but funny.

he is just so darn cute, and so much fun to listen to. too bad some of the people around us were singing so loudly as well. wanted to listen to Rufus, not that other guy standing behind me!

just got to love the Fillmore. if there is a band that has done anything of note, they have played there. from the days of the Greatful Dead and the Doors, to the Cure, the B-52s and just about everyone in between. great place.

and yes – the posting time has a significance to one of the songs from last night.
